All too easy.

So, Todd McFarlane is bursting back onto the comics scene with an all-new character! I'm sure it'll be something completely fresh and original that's guaranteed to raise the bar for the entire medium! Let's take a look, shall we? Here it is:

Um. . .it's very. . .I mean it's. . .well it could be. . .agggh can't fight the fanboy snark I just can't!!

IT'S SPIDER-MAN! C'MON! YOU KNOW IT AND I KNOW IT! IT'S A GUY IN A BODY-FITTING LEORDARD SWINGING FROM FLUIDIC LINES! IT. IS. SPIDER-MAN!

All right, so the possibility does exist that this book may in fact be kick-ass, and if it proves so I will be the first to eat the sauteed crow with all the trimmings. But as first impression go, I have to say this doesn't bode well for the return of the monarch of Spawnvania. That's all I'm saying.

But it is Spider-Man. I mean come on.
